Thanks @Tarun. Although we don't have problems with React, this was a requirement mentioned in the job offer. This was because we wanted someone to build upon existing systems.

Having said that, would you share with us your thoughts about what makes you think React sucks? I understand that it has pros and cons, but it served well its purpose in projects where it made sense to use it.
